Binge by Tyler Oakley Review

I finally finished Binge by Tyler Oakley, and now it's time for a review!

Binge is a memoir written by YouTuber , and now podcaster, Tyler Oakley, who has amassed nearly 8 million subscribers! He's a mid-twenties guy from the midwest, living in Los Angeles and he's most famous for being unapologetically himself, as well as his ever changing hair colour.

I've been watching Tyler for years now, and I met him at his book tour, as you can see, my copy of the book is black, as it's the 'Exclusive Tour Edition' - how cool!

I had previously tried (and failed) to meet Tyler at Summer in the City 2014, and at his Slumber Party tour in mid-2015, during a random draw for VIP backstage passes, the girls next to us won! Whilst we were a little sad, we were trying to be the big adults as these preteens cried out of sheer excitement.

Summer in the City 2015

I'm so sorry blog, I am so sorry I haven't posted anything in a while!!

I was at Summer in the City (SITC) this weekend, which is the UK's biggest YouTube and online media convention. This was my second year attending and, I have to say, this year one hundred percent topped the last.

I want to write a lot about it, but I think the best way of sharing it with you is via the vlogs I made this weekend. I absolutely love to vlog but life isn't generally interesting enough for me to go around filming my daily life- no one wants to see me watching Agent Carter in clothes I already wore the other day whilst pigging out on a bar of Milka my sister brought back from Italy. Ironically, I did kinda vlog that as I'm testing out a week in clips thing. Oops.

Anyway, here's my three SITC 2015 vlogs. I had an amazing weekend with a lot of amazing friends and I hope I can get that across to you guys. There was a handy little playlist but I can't work out how to embed that one to blogger. I TRIED GUYS, I PROMISE.

Thanks for reading, I'll be back with some real posts soon. I still need to post my LFCC haul, you know...that convention I went to a month ago. Oops.

Desk Tour

I uploaded a new video to my YouTube channel yesterday:

I worked pretty hard on this video, so I thought I would cross post it over here, with a few extra pictures.

I'd really appreciate if you took 3 minutes to watch it!

Thanks!

Tanya Burr Manchester 'Love, Tanya' Book Signing

Hello everybody!

Yesterday afternoon, I went to Manchester for Tanya Burr's book signing. If you don't know, Tanya Burr is a YouTuber who covers beauty, baking, tags/challenges and a whole bunch of things! She has amassed, as of writing this, almost 3 MILLION subscribers. Which is...insane! She deserves every single one.

Tanya is one of my favourite YouTubers, as she is so sweet, kind and geniune. I especially love her vlogs, something about the way she does it makes them my absolute favourite to watch. And I watch A LOT of vlogs!

Amity Fest Liverpool

Hello everyone!

I'm gonna get back on point with my blogging game. I've had a bit of a lull but that's over and now it's gonna be great again.

So yesterday was Amity Fest in Liverpool, if you don't know what that is, it's a show put on at 3 venues across the UK (the other's being Birmingham and Brighton) by 9 of the biggest British YouTubers, Zoella, Tanya Burr, Jim Chapman, Sprinkle of Glitter, PointlessBlog, Marcus Butler, Niomi Smart, Caspar Lee and ThatcherJoe, who sadly couldn't make it due to be ill.

Zoella

I was originally going to name this 'In defence of Zoella' before I realised, Zoella does not need my defence, she has the world supporting her, despite a certain article, which this is being written in response to.
